The end of the financial year brings with it significant responsibilities for directors.  Signing off the end-of-year financial reports requires an understanding of:

  • director’s duties with regard to financial statements and financial reports
  • what signing off actually means
  • what processes should be implemented to sign off the accounts
  • the potential legal ramifications of signing off the accounts
