This LiveOne series is essential for any individual and or manager who wants to understand how to motivate and engage themselves and their team members.
The Motivating & Engaging People series consists of 3 interactive and highly informative sessions, which can be undertaken as a series or as individual sessions.
Series Outline
‘You have the skills, you have the experience & you can do the job; it’s just not fun anymore’. The big question that few people can answer is why? Why am I no longer happy or motivated to do a good job? Why is my previously high performing team member no longer performing?
Understanding your own motivation and engagement profile and learning the tools to help you & your team members understand their own, is the first step in unveiling this missing link. Once uncovered, you and your team members are empowered to drive and own your engagement experience.
Series Learning Outcomes
These sessions will explore and critically examine the following key concepts of employee motivation and engagement:

Session 1 Overview
For many, motivation is the biggest mystery in the workplace. It can be the toughest conversation for managers to broach and often the hardest questions for the individual to answer because often they don’t know themselves.
This session explains the key framework around intrinsic motivation and shows delegates how to master motivation mindset.
The session will cover:

Why Engagement & Motivation Matters? Your People may have the skills and experience by are the willing (motivated) to get the job done.......

Motivation Motive : We look at how things have changed through time from Command & Control to Empowerment & Autonomy and identify the outcomes drive an individual’s motivation.

Measuring Motivation: Understand the behaviours that define a highly engaged, non engaged and actively disengaged employee and identify where you have experienced each of these in your career.
Session 2 Overview
How can you choose a path, if you don’t know what you want? How can you engage another person, if they don’t know what they want?
This practical session uncovers the 3 Steps to Understanding want you want and works with each participant to investigate their individual workplace history to find out exactly what engages and motivates them using our 4 Dimensions of Engagement Model.
This session will cover:

Employee Led Engagement: Understand why it is your responsibility to know what motivates you and do something about it.

It isn’t about the Money: We look at the 3 keys to understanding want people want when it comes to career. What you Like, What you are Good At & what is Important to You.

Your Engagement Formula: Learn the 4 keys areas to engagement within the workplace, and understand the priorities when it comes to your satisfaction. Uncover the patterns of motivation & engagement that have been present throughout your career. U this to build your very own engagement profile
Session 3 Overview
It is easy to get lost when you don’t know where you are going or have a map to guide you.
This practical session shows you how to create your Engagement and Motivation Blueprint and empowers you to leverage this understanding to create a more meaningful and exciting career and workplace experience.
This session will cover:

What are you Good AT? Employability Skills & Strengths

Why do your people turn up to work every day? We will teach you about the importance of Career Values, help you uncover your own and then understand how it impacts engagement every day.

Action: Understand how to leverage this profile and new understanding of oneself to take ownership & responsibility for your career.
